Covid-19 Every Cloud has a Silver Lining

There is a saying in English: Every cloud has a silver lining. The same applies to the corona. On social media, people are posting pictures of animals like Nilgai and deer roaming on the streets. There is also a huge reduction in pollution. But consider the other side of it. OPD in hospitals are closed; Despite this, there is no rush in Emergency. So how did diseases reduce so much?

Granted, there are no vehicles plying on the streets; therefore, there is no road accident. But there are also no problems like heart attack, brain hemorrhage or hypertension. How did it happen that there is no complaint from anybody that no one is being treated? The number of dead bodies coming to Delhi’s Nigambodh funeral Ghat daily has come down by 25-30 percent.

Leave Delhi, look the condition of Varanasi, which is also a religious capital and has importance in terms of cremation of dead bodies. On an average, 80 to 100 dead bodies used to come to Harishchandra Ghat, Varanasi. Today only 20 or 25 dead bodies are coming in the atmosphere of Coronavirus.

It is said that this is the passing season (going from winter to summer). At this time every year there is an increase in dead body, but do not know why there is a huge shortage of dead body whereas only the response from BHU Neither 10 to 15 dead bodies used to come to a standstill, the patients who are admitted in the hospitals are all in the past, if the new patient is not admitted, it is really surprising that all the disease is missing whether the corona virus has affected all the diseases Killed…?

No. This raises the question of commercialization of medical profession. Where there is no disease, the doctors make it gigantic. After the emergence of the corporate hospital, the crisis has deepened. In the slightest cold and cough, billions of thousands and perhaps even billions of lakhs is no longer a surprise. The beds are lying empty in most hospitals.

I am not trying to reduce the importance of doctors’ service. I salute the services of all the health professionals during the time of Covid-19. But the fear has become too much. Many problems are also due to doctors. Apart from this, people are eating homemade food, not restaurants. It also makes a difference. If the system does its job properly and people get clean water and pure food, then half the diseases will be eliminated like this.

There was a survey in Canada about 4-5 decades ago. There was a strike of doctors for a long period. The survey found that the death rate declined during this period. Health is a part of our lifestyle; it is not only dependent on doctors. Mahatma Gandhi has written in Hind Swaraj that doctors will never want people to be healthy; the lawyer would never want the mutual discord to end. However, there are problems with lockdown which are unavoidable but it has also given some informative and interesting experiences.
