Cars have been the first and foremost passion for every person globally. The speed, the luxury, the shade, the interiors, and the specs, all these can give a person chills down the spine. Bollywood stars have been known for a luxurious lifestyle, which includes possession of astonishing cars. 1. Chevrolet impala
One of the first and foremost American muscle cars to be released in the mid-60s, impala had the impression of packing 500 horsepower and looks in a whole package. Apart from adoring the garage of film stars, it was also featured in many movies. This car was a blast in all the auto shows, and was first showcased in the movie “Haathi Mere Saathi”, where Tanuja drove this lady for the first time in the industry.
2. Chevrolet Bel Air
The car was put in use in Dev anand starrer Jewel thief. A new on road car in red color came into limelight which had a 4.3 litre petrol engine and a manual gearbox.
3. Contessa
The Hindustan Motors’ contessa was an iconic four-door car, based on the Vauxhall VX series. This was their prized possession and often found in the garage of top businessmen, Bollywood film stars and well-off households. Though considered as an Indian muscle car, contessa became a sensation after its release, and starring in many movies.
It does not matter whether you have been an audience for the old movies or not but cars have been in the industry since the age when people preferred walking or consider cycle as the only mode of commutation. Reviving this old beauties must in the form of cars used in bollywood must have filled you with joy.
