1. Reise nach Indien: Planen Sie Ihre Reise nach Indien. Was Sie wissen müssen, bevor Sie nach Indien kommen

1.1) Wann nach Indien kommen?
Wann Sie nach Indien kommen, sollte Ihre erste Überlegung sein, bevor Sie mit der Planung beginnen. Die beste Jahreszeit in Indien ist Oktober bis März. Für MOST ist die beste Jahreszeit, wenn Sie kommen möchten. Obwohl es zu dieser Zeit mehr Touristen gibt, ist Indien im Allgemeinen ein überfülltes Land und es wird überfüllt sein, egal wann Sie kommen.
In der Nebensaison ist das Wetter nicht so schön (es wird sehr heiß im Mai, dann im Juni, Juli, der Monsun bringt), und in Gegenden, in denen der Monsun stark trifft wie Goa und Kerala, ist von Restaurants bis zu Hostels so ziemlich alles geschlossen. Ein weiterer Nachteil des Reisens außerhalb der Saison ist, dass auf dem Weg weniger Touristen auftauchen, die potenzielle Reisepartner sein könnten. Wenn Sie nach Varanasi reisen, gibt es ab August und September eine riesige Flut im Ganges. Die beste Zeit ist also von November bis März für Varanasi.

1. 2) Wie lange in Indien bleiben
Die meisten Leute, die mit Touristenvisa anreisen, bekommen das Sechsmonatsvisum. Sie können länger als das werden, aber Sie müssen ausreisen und wieder einreisen, da Sie nicht länger als 180 Tage mit jeder Art von Visum in Indien bleiben können, egal wie lange es dauert.
Ein halbes Jahr ist ideal für eine Rucksackreise nach Indien, obwohl es schwierig sein kann, so viel Zeit weg zu bekommen. Wenn Sie es verdichten müssen (aber viel sehen wollen), brauchen Sie wirklich mindestens 10-12 Wochen.
Später im Abschnitt “Reiseroute” erfahren Sie mehr über die Sehenswürdigkeiten. So können Sie Ihre Reiseroute planen und sehen, wie viele Tage am besten funktionieren.
Indien hat viel vom Himalaya bis zur Wüste Thar und die Strände von Goa bis zu den geschäftigen Städten von Kalkutta. Sie haben Stammesangehörige in den Genehmigungszonen von Nordostindien und Dschungel, die im dichten Dschungel versteckt sind. Ich habe Jahre gebraucht, um so viel von Indien zu sehen, also musst du einige schwierige Entscheidungen treffen!
Wenn Sie weniger Zeit haben, ist es cool – kommen Sie trotzdem! Kürzlich kamen meine Freunde aus Großbritannien für zwei Wochen und wir tourten durch Mumbai, Goa und Hampi. Es war großartig und sie reden immer noch darüber, wie cool die Reise war. Sie können ungefähr 3 Orte in zwei Wochen besuchen. Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal in Indien sind und 1-2 Wochen Zeit haben, überlegen Sie sich eine “Goldenes Dreieck Rundreise Indien”, über die ich später sprechen werde.

1.3) Flüge
Flüge sind das erste, worüber Sie nachdenken sollten. Sie werden wahrscheinlich nach Mumbai oder Delhi fliegen, da dort viele günstige internationale Flüge landen. Dann können Sie Ihre Reise von dort aus beginnen oder zu der Stelle verbinden, an der Sie beginnen möchten.
Die Flughäfen in Indien wurden überarbeitet und sind recht modern, aber Sie müssen eine Vorstellung davon haben, was Sie bei Ihrer Ankunft erwarten können. Wenn Sie am ersten Tag anreisen, buchen Sie am besten ein Hotel und bitten Sie es, einen Fahrer zu schicken. Es lohnt sich, den Kulturschock und das Chaos zu vermeiden. Aber wenn Sie dazu bereit sind, ist es auch einfach, ein im Voraus bezahltes Regierungstaxi zu bekommen, oder wenn es eine Stadt mit Uber ist, ist dies eine gute Wahl. Stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie die genaue Adresse Ihres Aufenthalts haben, nicht nur für den Taxifahrer, sondern auch für die Einwanderung.

1.4) Visum
Du musst einen haben! Es gibt einige Möglichkeiten, eine zu bekommen. Als das E-Visum 2014 zum ersten Mal herauskam, war es 30 Tage lang mit doppelter Einreise gestattet. Sie haben es 2017 auf 60 Tage erhöht und 2019 sogar noch mehr. Es ist jetzt ein einjähriges Visum mit mehreren Einreisen. Dies bedeutet NICHT, dass Sie ein Jahr in Indien bleiben können. Wenn Sie aus Großbritannien, den USA, Japan und Kanada kommen, können Sie maximal 180 Tage bleiben. Sie können dann beenden und erneut eingeben. Wenn Sie aus anderen Ländern kommen, die das E-Visum erhalten können, können Sie 90 Tage bleiben.
Visa sind ab dem Tag der Ankunft gültig, aber Sie können dieses Visum nicht zu weit im Voraus beantragen. Das Maximum ist 120 Tage vor dem Datum, an dem Sie in Indien ankommen möchten.
Es ist ein Mehrfachvisum. Dies bedeutet, dass Sie nach Nepal oder Sri Lanka (wirklich überall) reisen und innerhalb der Gültigkeitsdauer des Visums zurückkehren können.

Wenn Sie länger als ein Jahr anreisen, müssen Sie den vollständigen Visumantrag online stellen, was etwas zeitaufwändig sein kann. Sie müssen entweder Ihren Reisepass mit dem Antrag einsenden oder Sie können zu einer Botschaft gehen.

1.5) Gesundheit & Wellness
Die Leute sorgen sich immer um den Delhi-Bauch, was, um fair zu sein, ein berechtigtes Anliegen ist. Es ist definitiv einigen meiner ausländischen Freunde mehr als einmal passiert. Sie suchen auf Google nicht nach Delhi Belly, das ich nicht erneut eingebe, damit Sie es dort lesen können. Sie möchten auch über Impfungen nachdenken.
Indiens Medikamente sind günstig, die Krankenhäuser jedoch nicht. Etwas wie eine Harnwegsinfektion, die sich in eine Niereninfektion verwandelt, kostet Sie leicht 2-3.000 US-Dollar. Sie MÜSSEN also eine Reiseversicherung abschließen, bevor Sie kommen. Es ist so billig und gibt Ihnen ein großes Stück Geist. Dengue-Fieber und Lebensmittelvergiftungen sind üblich. Fügen Sie eine Reiseversicherung zu Ihrer To-Do-Liste hinzu, gleich dort oben mit Visa.

Sie können eine kleine medizinische Ausrüstung mitbringen, aber Sie müssen nicht wirklich so ziemlich alles zugänglich machen, was Sie hier einwerfen (und billiger) möchten, wie Imodium (was ich sowieso nicht empfehle), Pflaster , Cortisoncreme, Neosporin und dergleichen. Die eine Sache, die Sie in einigen Städten mit Antibabypillen möglicherweise nur schwer finden, sollten Sie sich vor Ihrer Ankunft mit denen eindecken.
Lassen Sie uns nur ein wenig über die Toilettensituation sprechen: Es ist normalerweise in Ordnung – aber es gibt Zeiten, in denen es nur ein Loch und einen Eimer gibt. In diesem Fall würden Inder sich mit der linken Hand waschen und dann ihre Hände waschen. Sie werden in der Tat feststellen, dass die meisten Gästehäuser, in denen ich übernachtet habe, diese Konfiguration hatten. Sie können einfach Toilettenpapier oder Feuchttücher mit sich führen und diese anstelle Ihrer Hand verwenden. Wenn Sie Glück haben, gibt es anstelle eines Eimers (an schönen Orten, in Hotels, Restaurants, auf Flughäfen) einen Sprüher (auch bekannt als Penner), und dieser wird Ihr neuer Bestie! Es ist viel sauberer als TP und ich hasse es, jetzt an Orte zu reisen, an denen es keinen gibt.

1.6) Sicherheit & Kultur
Ich weiß, ein großes Anliegen für Frauen, die hier reisen, ist die Sicherheit. Ich werde nicht sagen, dass es kein echtes Problem ist. es ist. Es gibt in Indien eine große Ungleichheit in Bezug auf Frauen, und obwohl es Fälle von Angriffen / Vergewaltigungen von Ausländern gegeben hat, ist diese gering im Vergleich zu dem, mit dem einheimische Frauen die ganze Zeit hier zu tun haben. Ich könnte so weiter machen, aber ich habe Dutzende Male in meinem Blog
Die indische Kultur ist gleichzeitig verwirrend und aufregend und es ist die Kultur, die Indien so interessant macht. Wenn Sie versuchen, sich davor zu schützen, verpassen Sie es. Die meisten Menschen haben eine echte Hassliebe zu Indien, aber je mehr Sie Indien akzeptieren, desto mehr werden Sie es lieben.

1.7) Verpackung
Packen für Indien ist nicht so schwer, wie Sie vielleicht denken. Ich sage den Leuten immer “Es ist Indien, nicht der Mond!”, Aber es gibt einige Dinge, die Sie wirklich für Indien brauchen, um Ihre Reise zu erleichtern.
Wenn Sie ein kleines Budget haben und mit Schlafzügen der niedrigsten Klasse reisen möchten (was meine Freunde getan haben), brauchen Sie einen Mumienkissen und ein Reisekissen. Sie benötigen auch eine 4-Fuß-Kette, um Ihre Tasche am Boden der Zugbetten zu befestigen, damit niemand sie stiehlt. Die Leute steigen die ganze Nacht ein und aus und Diebstahl ist weit verbreitet. Eine andere Sache, die Ihnen immens helfen kann, ist das Reisen mit einer Stirnlampe. Stromausfälle sind häufig, daher ist es gut, wenn Sie nachts aufstehen und auf die Toilette gehen müssen oder in Schlafbussen sitzen.
Sie müssen auch über ein Handy für Indien nachdenken. Sie benötigen ein “entsperrtes” Telefon, um eine Indien-SIM-Karte einzulegen. Wenn Sie den einfacheren Weg suchen und kein entsperrtes Telefon haben möchten, lesen Sie Trabug, das Ihnen am ersten Abend, wenn Sie ankommen, ein Telefon zur Verwendung in Ihrem Hotel sendet.

1.8) Währung & Budget
Es ist möglich, 1200 Rs pro Tag (ca. 25 USD) zu budgetieren. Sie können 800-1000 versuchen, aber Sie werden ernsthaft Probleme haben, dieses Budget einzuhalten – ich spreche von Trampen, schlechtesten Gästehäusern und jeder Mahlzeit mit Reis.

2. Unterkunft in Indien

Indien hat sich in den letzten 3 Jahren für Touristen stark weiterentwickelt, seitdem immer mehr Hostels auftauchen. Während Hostels die beste Art sind, andere zu reisen, sind sie nicht immer die billigste oder „einzigartigste“ Option. Eine großartige Sache bei Rucksacktouren in Indien im Vergleich zu Europa ist, dass Sie in “Gästehäusern” übernachten können, bei denen es sich um ein Doppelbett mit eigenem Bad handelt. Ein Hostel kostet normalerweise 500-1000 Rs pro Nacht und das ist für einen geteilten Schlafsaal mit viel weniger Charme als niedliche Gästehäuser!
Aber Sie werden alles finden: Hostels, Pensionen, Boutique-Hotels, historische Häuser, Airbnb, 2,3,4-Sterne-Hotels und überragende 5-Sterne-Hotels, die die Hotels auf der ganzen Welt buchstäblich übertreffen.
Gästehäuser sind oft sehr einfach.
Wenn Sie sich für Hostels interessieren, sind die besten Preise normalerweise bei Agoda zu finden und Sie können nach Marken wie Zostel und Stops suchen, bei denen es sich um nette Kettenherbergen handelt.

3. Essen in Indien

Ja, es stimmt, dass wir Inder mit unserer rechten (sauberen) Hand essen. Es ist Teil unserer Kultur und eine, an die Sie sich wahrscheinlich gerne anpassen werden. Die meisten Touristenorte haben Besteck, sodass Sie es nicht müssen, wenn Sie es nicht möchten. Bitte denken Sie daran, dass Sie krank werden, weil Sie an einem schmutzigen Ort gegessen haben und sich nicht die Hände gewaschen haben. Geben Sie den Betrieben keine Schuld, da Sie nicht genau wissen, was die Ursache sein könnte.
Das Essen im Norden Indiens ist ganz anders als im Süden! Während Sie reisen, werden Sie Unterschiede in den Geschmacksrichtungen Dal, Currys, Brot und sogar Reis bemerken. Der Norden hat reiche, cremige, butterartige Currys, die sie mit Roti oder Naan essen. Tandoori ist in Nordindien sehr groß. Der Norden ist in Gegenden jedoch ziemlich vegetarisch und es gibt sogar Orte, die streng vegetarisch sind (Sie können nicht einmal ein Ei haben, wie Pushkar). Der Süden hat mehr Kokosmilch-Curry, sie sind leichter und vielleicht gesünder.
Sie finden amerikanische, englische und allgemeine europäische Küche auf Speisekarten in Restaurants, die auf Touristen ausgerichtet sind, es sei denn, es handelt sich um ein schickes Restaurant. Es ist am besten, sich an indisches Essen zu halten, weil sie wissen, wie man es zubereitet, damit es besser schmeckt. Es wird oft frisch zubereitet, damit Sie nicht krank werden und es ist billiger.

4. Transport in Indien

Weiter zum Transport! Dieser Artikel fällt aus, um ziemlich lang zu sein. Ich hoffe du bleibst bei mir! Transport ist etwas, das Sie sorgfältig auswählen müssen. Es gibt viele Websites, die Ihnen helfen können. Abgesehen von der Verwendung von Zügen und Bussen (oder dem Fliegen), um von Stadt A nach Stadt B zu gelangen, müssen Sie sich auch innerhalb der Stadt fortbewegen. In den meisten Städten ist es am billigsten und einfachsten, eine Rikscha zu rufen, die diese lustigen kleinen Buggys mit drei Rädern sind. In einigen Städten gibt es immer noch Fahrradrikschas, aber es gibt weit weniger als früher. Wenn Sie eine Rikscha oder ein Taxi nehmen, ist es in den meisten Städten gesetzlich vorgeschrieben, dass sie ihr Messgerät einschalten. Dies ist nicht immer der Fall. Wenn sie nein sagen, können Sie es mit anderen Rikschas versuchen. Wenn Sie kein Glück haben, müssen Sie einen Preis aushandeln, bevor Sie in die Rikscha einsteigen.

5. Überlegungen zur Reiseroute für Indien

Wie ich oben sagte, gibt es so viele Regionen: Berge, Wüsten, Strände, Dschungel, Städte und mehr, was es schwierig macht, Ihre Reise einzugrenzen. Es gibt Gebiete in Indien, die weniger bereist sind, aber viel schwieriger zu bereisen sind. Dies wären kleine Dörfer, in denen es keine Hotels und Restaurants gibt, und die Einheimischen haben vielleicht noch nie einen Touristen gesehen. Bleiben Sie auf Ihrer ersten Reise nach Indien einfach auf dem Weg, denn es ist erstaunlich und es gibt einen Grund, warum Touristen zu den folgenden Orten gehen.

Top Städte Touristen lieben
Ich werde einige der Top-Touristenstädte auflisten und dann ein paar Worte darüber sagen, wofür sie bekannt sind. Ich beginne in Nordindien und arbeite mich nach unten, bevor ich die Ostseite einpacke. Es gibt erstaunlichere Orte in Indien als dieses, aber ich würde schätzen, dass etwa 90% der Erstreisenden nach Indien an diesen Orten bleiben.

Wie Sie sehen, habe ich Tamil Nadu, Karnataka und einige große Städte wie Hyderabad und Kalkutta nicht erwähnt. Ich liebe Karnataka sehr, aber ich verstehe, warum Reisende es für ihre zweite Reise aufbewahren. Ich bin auch ein Teil von Arunachal Pradesh, einem Staat mit vielen Stämmen, für dessen Einreise Sie eine Erlaubnis benötigen. Hier leben die Apatani!

6. Erfahrungen zu versuchen

Einige der Top-Dinge, die die Menschen in Indien tun möchten, sind Elefanten beim Baden zu beobachten, einen Tiger zu sehen, Safaris zu unternehmen, einen Kamelritt zu unternehmen und in der Wüste zu schlafen, in einem Ashram zu bleiben, Yoga zu lernen, etwas über die Religion zu lernen, in dem man feiert Goa, nehmen Sie ein Hausboot auf den Backwaters, holen Sie sich Henna und treffen Sie natürlich den Dalai Lama. Mach dir keine Sorgen, du schaffst ALLES.

Überlegen Sie, was Sie auf der Bucket-Liste tun möchten, und stellen Sie sicher, dass Ihre Reiseroute übereinstimmt.

Yoga Retreats und Lehrerausbildung
Viele Menschen, die nach Indien kommen, sind an einem Yoga-Retreat für Anfänger interessiert oder lieben Yoga bereits und möchten in Indien eine Yogalehrer-Ausbildung (YTT) absolvieren. Viele meiner Freunde haben Exerzitien und Schulungen durchgeführt (eine für Exerzitien und eine für Schulungen). Sie können auf anderen Websites auf Google nachsehen. Sie sind teuer, sehen Sie sich alle Bewertungen an!

7.Wie man Leute trifft

Leute zu treffen, während ich in Indien unterwegs bin, war früher ziemlich anstrengend und ich würde Wochen unterwegs sein, ohne andere Freunde zu sehen. Kurse wie Meditation, Kunst und Yoga sind eine großartige Möglichkeit, Leute kennenzulernen. Wenn Sie in den Bergen wandern oder eine Kamelsafari unternehmen möchten, ist es VIEL billiger, als Gruppe zu reisen. Versuchen Sie also, sich auf diese großen Abenteuer vorzubereiten. 8. Einkaufen in Indien

Erlernen Sie die Kunst des Verhandelns in Indien beim Einkaufen. Das ist alles für diesen Abschnitt.

9. Reisen mit Kindern

Viele Leute fragen, ob sie mit ihren Kindern hierher kommen möchten, und obwohl ich keine Kinder habe, tun es meine Freunde und ich weiß ein bisschen, wie man mit Kindern hierher reist. Die Dinge sind VIEL entspannter, so dass es keine Autositze geben wird und Sie vergessen können, einen Kinderwagen mitzunehmen, es sei denn, Sie befinden sich in einer sehr gehobenen Gegend mit fantastischen Gehwegen (man kann sich keinen Ort wie diesen vorstellen). Rajasthan, Goa und Kerala sind wahrscheinlich die drei besten Staaten, um mit Kindern zu reisen. Die Leute machen Fotos von Ihren Babys, weil kleine weiße Babys für manche Inder einfach zu liebenswert sind. Es ist nicht so seltsam, wie es scheint! Wenn Sie mit einem großen Budget reisen, bieten die meisten Fünf-Sterne-Hotels hier Kinderzimmer / Spielzimmer.

10. Überlegungen zur Freiwilligenarbeit

Machen Sie ernsthafte Nachforschungen, bevor Sie sich freiwillig in Indien melden! Sie nutzen definitiv den “Volunteerourismus” und ich habe Horrorgeschichten gehört. Man muss bedenken, dass die Menschen in Gegenden Indiens ernsthaft zu kämpfen haben und fast alles tun würden, um Geld für die Ernährung ihrer Familien zu verdienen. In Mumbai leihen die Frauen ein Baby und sitzen auf der Straße. Sie betteln um Geld und Essen.
Es gibt eine dunkle Schicht in Indien, und einige Freiwilligenarbeitsplätze bieten den freundlichen Ausländern enorme Vorteile…

Connaught Place

Connaught Place is a frenetic business and financial hub, centered on a ring of colonnaded Georgian-style buildings with global chain stores, vintage cinemas, bars and Indian restaurants. Stalls at Janpath Market sell saris, embroidered bags and trinkets. The peaceful Sikh temple Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is known for its reflecting pool, and Jantar Mantar is a 1700s observatory with huge astronomical instruments.

This Ayushmann Khuranna- Sonam Kapoor starrer was a light-hearted rom-com. Bewakoofiyan’s song ‘Khamakhaan’ sees Ayushmann and Sonam dancing around at Connaught Place. The scene where Aamir Khan comments on Kareena Kapoor’s watch is the one that was shot at Connaught Place.

Jama Masjid

 

The Masjid e Jahan Numa, commonly known as the Jama Masjid of Delhi, is one of the largest mosques in India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 at a cost of one million rupees.

Delhi 6 saw the old Delhi which was recreated outside Jaipur but there were scenes that were shot in Delhi. The song ‘Maula Maula’ was shot at Jama Masjid and the part where we see Rohan’s house was in Chandini Chowk. Some additional films set here are Kurbaan, Sultan.

Humayun Tomb

Humayun’s tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun’s first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.

It has been a part of movies like Delhi 6, Kurbaan, Sultan, etc.

Kutub Minar

The Qutb Minar, also spelled as Qutab Minar or Qutub Minar, is a minaret that forms part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Mehrauli area of Delhi, India. Qutb Minar is a 73-metre tall tapering tower of five storeys, with a 14.3 metres base diameter, reducing to 2.7 metres at the top of the peak.

Badrinath

Badrinath in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand is one among the most sought after pilgrim centers in the Indian subcontinent. The term Badrinath is a derivative of badri, which means the place where beries grow abundantly.

The popular belief is that Badarinath was the domain of Lord Shiva, and Lord Vishnu managed to unseat Shiva from here to Kedarnath. Another belief is that when Ganga made her descend to earth she split up in to twelve streams and one among the channels, Alakananda felt on Kedarnath which gives Badrinath it’s majestic look.

Film makers can cover so many myths and legends about Badrinath which acquires predominance in the Director’s itinerary of India. International Directors/Producers can film Shrines and pilgrimage that Badrinath offers. It proffers the awesome beauty of the snow clad mountain peaks and the surging landscapes of the Garhwal region.

Champawat

Champawat is steeped in history, and has enormous religious significance as well. Indian mythology mentions this as the place where Lord Vishnu appeared as ‘Kurmavatar’ (incarnated as a tortoise).

Champawat has sheer number of temples located in the region which are beautifully constructed and carved, and some of them date back to the time of the Chand rulers. The Nagnath temple which is dedicated to Kranteshwar Mahadev and  Baleshwar temple in Champawat are a must visit destinations is Champawat. Baleshwar Temple, dedicated to the chief deity Lord Shiva is an important place that you must visit during your film making trip to the place which has a structure carved entirely out of stone.

Deoprayag

It is a beautiful showcase of traditions, myths and mysticism. This is the place where the holy rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda meet, merge into one and take the name ‘Ganga’ making it a unique pilgrimage like the Prayag of Allahabad.

From here onward two rivers Deoprayag is endowed with abundant natural beauty. According to a belief, Lord Ram and his father King Dasharath did penance here. The main temple of the town is the ‘Raghunath Temple’, dedicated to Lord Rama.

In Treta-yuga, Lord Ram and Lakshman performed a yajna here to atone for killing Ravan, who was a Brahmin.

Kedarnath

Kedarnath is ancient and magnificent temple is located in the Rudra Himalaya range, is over a thousand years old. The present temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya. The inner walls of the temple sanctum are adorned with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology.

According to legends, the Pandavas sought the blessings of lord Shiva to atone their sin after the battle of Mahabharata. Lord Shiva eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed, he dived into ground leaving behind his hump on the surface. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is at this time, that the doors of the temple are thrown open to pilgrims, who flock from all parts of India, for a holy pilgrimage.

The shrine of Kedarnath is very scenically placed, and is surrounded by lofty, snow – covered mountains, and during summer grassy meadows covering the valleys, which further gives concrete reasons to set  their films in Kedarnath.

Mussoorie

It is also called Queen of the Hills. It is among the most popular hill stations of the country. Mussoorie offers superb scenic view of peaks of the Himalayas in western Garhwal. Mussoorie boasts of some of the most spectacular views of the Himalayas.

The city was established in 1825 by captain Young, it has quite an intriguing past. An adventurous British military officer, together with one Mr. Shore, the resident Superintendent of Revenues at Dehradun, explored the present site and jointly constructed a shooting lodge.

Nainital

The “Lake District of India”, Nainital is one of the most beautiful hill stations in North India. Surrounded by mountains on three sides Nainital is located around the beautiful lake Naini Tal.

This beautiful small town in surrounded by seven hills, popularly known as ‘Sapta-Shring’ – Ayarpata, Deopata, Handi-Bandi, Naina, Alma, Lariya-Kanta and Sher-Ka-Danda. The majestic mountains and the sparkling waters of the lake add an immense lot to the beauty of the town.

According to recent historical records, Nainital was discovered by a British sugar merchant P. Barron in 1839. He was so deeply enthralled by the lake settlement and its forested surrounding that he came back with a sailing boat and built a house named ‘Pilgrim’s Cottage’.

The main attractions of Nainital range from quiet walks in meadows the forests of pine and deciduous trees to adventure sports (rock climbing, yachting etc.) to popular entertainment.

Rishikesh 

A most tranquil place in northern Uttarakhand, surrounded by hills and bisected by the wide and sluggish Ganges, is often claimed as the `Yoga Capital of the World’.

Rishikesh gained instant fame as the site where The Beatles came to stay with their guru, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. It is an excellent place to meditate and study yoga.

The film makers can find from Laxman Jhula point for treks to Himalayan pilgrimage centres such as Badrinath, Kedarnath , Gangotri, Yamnotri. It is rightly called the gateway to the Himalayan Shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.

Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers is set in the backdrop of the majestic Zanskar Ranges. This virtual paradise on earth has been unknown to the outside world till the great Mountaineer Frank S Smith discovered it in the year 1931

A world heritage site, the valley is situated at a very remarkable area, which is the conversion point of Himalayan ranges, Zanskar and Western and Eastern Himalayas. This fairyland located in the high altitudes of Himalayas is protected by snowy mountains. Bounded by the magnificent mountain ranges and glittering glaciers, this place unfolds the charisma and charm of nature at its best.

During colder months the valley sheds its somnolent nature with its multitudes of exotic flora. When the monsoon clouds began to drizzle, the valley shows its flowery face and the entire region would glisten like a colourful carpet.

A scenic place where the nature blooms with its entire vista can be accessible by a tedious but lovely stroll. The information you need to know when traveling or shooting in India has been compiled.

(1) Currency and currency exchange
The currency is Rupee (Rs).
Coins are available in 1/2/5/10 rupees and
banknotes in 5/10/20/50/100/200/500/2000 rupees .

(4) Climate and temperature
Even at the same time, temperatures are different between north and south. Here is the average situation in Delhi:

Dev Diwali or Dev Deepawali is the ‘Festival of Lights, of the Gods’. It is celebrated on the full moon day (which is called Purnima) in the month of Kartik (November), as per the traditional Hindu calendar.

Dev Diwali is celebrated to honour the victory of Lord Shiva over the demon named ‘Tripurasur’. For this reason, this festival is also known as ‘Tripurotsav’. It also coincides with the Jain light festival and Guru Nanak Jayanti.

One must know the significance of this festival too. This day celebrates the power of Lord Shiva. Further, it is believed that Gods descend from heaven to bathe in Ganga on this day. Dev Diwali is hence commemorated.

On this day, thousands & lakhs of Diyas (earthen lamps) are let to float in the holy water of the Ganges & ghats of Varanasi, paying respects to the Gods who have descended. This is a traditional ritual which has been in practice for long.

Dev Diwali is celebrated widely in states of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. Most significantly, Dev Diwali is celebrated in Varanasi with huge fervor.

On this day, devotees consist of kartik snan (devotees and pilgrims take a holy dip early in the morning in the sacred water of Ganges during Kartika) and deepdan (offering of oil lighted lamps) in the honour of Goddess Ganga. Ganga Mahotsav is also held at Dasaswamedh Ghat (the famous Ganges ghat in Varanasi) on this occasion where a huge number of Hindu devotees start to visit the location.

Following this, Ganga aarti is performed in the evening on each ghat of the Ganges, with huge lamps and is performed by 21 Brahmin Priests along with 24 girls, with full devotion.

So the big question is when is Dev Diwali celebrated in the year of 2019? Many of my fellow friends and travelers from across the world must be planning to witness the divine scenic of dev Diwali in Varanasi.

As per the Gregorian calendar, this year (2019), Kartik Poornima falls on November 12.

This film was shot in Mumbai, which is also called the economic capital of India. The Hundred-Foot Journey is about the triumph of Indian recipes. In this film the Kadam family has culinary skills which represents Indian culture, this skills won over hearts.

Gandhi
This film was directed by Richard Attenborough who chose to set most of the sequences in India. In this film, the story of Oscar winning film ‘Gandhi’ was acted by Ben Kingsley. Gandhi’s character is fully explained as a man of man on nonviolence. Apparently Richard Attenborough took almost 18 years to complete his film ‘Gandhi’.

 

A Passage To India
This award winning film based on E.M Forester’s book, directed by David Lean was shot purely in Banglore, Kashmir, Gaya in Bihar state and some other locations. This film is regarded as Lean’s best film ever. He ended his illustrious career on a high note with his haunting love song to the exotic & sensual world of India.

 

Life of Pi
This film was shot mostly in southern part of India, including locations like Pondicherry. The film was directed by Ang Lee, which was also nominated for Oscar. The film is based on a 16-years old boy ‘Pi’ Patel who suffers a shipwreck and is stranded in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger. The film was receives awards in India for promoting Pondicherry and Munnar cities and enhancing the tourism industry.

Zero Dark Thirty
This film is based on Osama Bin Laden’s Execution. For filming ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ the team recreated the Karachi (site of operation) in the city of Chandigarh in India. Pinjore Garden, Punjab engineering college, Manimajra fort, Sector 15 market were chosen for capturing sequences. It was impossible for the Director Kathryn Bigelow to shot his film in Pakistan. The film ran into several controversies.

Il y a plusieurs scènes de films mémorables dans les trains et sur les plates-formes ferroviaires, dont on se souvient depuis longtemps. Ces séquences de train donnent un effet palpitant aux cinéphiles.
Nous aimerions vous dire que durant l’exercice 2015-2016, 18 films ont été tournés dans plusieurs gares en Inde. Il y a une énorme demande de filmer à la permission du chemin de fer. Cependant, en raison du prix élevé et du traitement complexe de la permission des autorités ferroviaires, très peu de réalisateurs se sont tournés pour tourner leurs séquences chez Railway Properties.

Avec notre expérience, nous aimerions partager cela ressemble à une procédure complexe et prenant du temps, mais si vous suivez leur modèle de documents, cela deviendra facile. Il ya un accord, un cautionnement d’indemnisation, une garantie bancaire, une assurance, un scénario de film avec une demande mentionnant tout sur le projet comme les endroits où vous allez entreprendre le tir et les horaires. Vous avez également demandé une assurance complète sur votre nom de production. Ces documents sont requis lorsque vous souhaitez utiliser les locaux du Chemin de fer et non les trains. La garantie bancaire est remboursable mais il y a des frais de licence qui ne sont pas remboursables.
Dans le cas où vous avez besoin de trains pour votre tournage indépendamment, alors il y a un cas différent. Les frais de licence et les coûts d’assurance augmenteront. Et vous devez payer un supplément pour obtenir le train qui se compose de quatre compartiments, 1 SLR et 1 moteur.

Les frais de licence dépendent de votre station de chemin de fer dans quel groupe. Des métros comme Delhi et Mumbai seront coûteux. Pendant le tournage, une équipe de la police des chemins de fer est accompagnée pour assurer tous les dommages et risques.
